Install an adjustable handbrake lever kit.

Assembly steps:
- Loosen the nuts/locknuts at the end of the cable
- Adjust the cable tension so that they just lift the levers off the calipers
- Tighten the locknuts
- Pull the lever 3 notches
- Loosen the 14 mm screws securing the adjustment eccentrics
- Turn the eccentrics with the 8 mm diameter screw so that the pads are pressed against the disc
- Tighten the eccentrics' locking nuts, preventing them from turning
- Check that the pads rub at the third notch and brake significantly at the fifth notch
