First of all, the front and rear shock absorbers for the different generations and models of 2CV, whether friction or hydraulic, for which 3 distinct ranges are offered: the traditional Monroe shock absorbers, the Classic products which guarantee optimised comfort and better roadholding than the standard models on the market and, finally, the "high performance" shock absorbers which, thanks to their gas technology, provide unrivalled long-lasting performance in terms of roadholding, comfort and safety. This section also includes our range of suspension arms, spring tubes and front and rear suspension units, all of which are fitted directly to the 2CV chassis. This chassis, also known as the platform because of its shape, which distinguishes it from a conventional tubular chassis, is a central part in the assembly and rigidity of the car, as it is to this chassis that not only the suspension and therefore the wheels are attached, as the 2CV has its two driving wheels at the front, but also, and above all, to which the bodyshell is attached, various body components are attached to the bodyshell, including the bonnet, the seats and all the parts making up the passenger compartment.

French produced chassis in our workshops

A large proportion of these new spare parts are manufactured in our workshops in Cassis. These include our original chassis, produced using Citroën's historic tooling. Exclusive to our company, these 2CV chassis are also used on many derivative vehicles such as the Mehari and the Dyane.
