Licence plate new french registration number (300 x 200 mm) - black

Let's review the current regulations regarding license plates.

If you have just registered your vehicle, you now have a new registration number. You must install new white-background plates with the following format: 2 letters, hyphen, 3 digits, hyphen, 2 letters, with the European symbol and the letter F on a blue background on the far left of the plate (and optionally, on the far right, the department number of your choice along with the corresponding regional logo).

Please note: If your vehicle is classified as a historic vehicle (with a historic registration certificate), you may, despite having a new registration number (with hyphens, etc.), fit plates without any logo, with a black background and white or metal-colored block characters.

Furthermore, if your vehicle has retained the same registration number since at least January 1st, 1993, you may keep or choose the black plate type mentioned above.

For the production of your plates, please remember to send us (by email or fax) a copy of your registration certificate.
