Front caliper interconnecting 8mm brake pipe

This front calliper connection brake pipe 08 carries pressurised LHM fluid between the brake callipers to ensure continuity of the hydraulic circuit. When the brake pedal is pressed. pressure flows through the pipe and allows the brake callipers to operate.

This pipe is positioned within the vehicle's front braking system. It connects the two front brake callipers to ensure fluid circulation between the various components of the circuit. On the Méhari 4x4, this pipe is also used to connect the rear callipers.

During installation, it must be correctly positioned with the appropriate seals and securely fastened to prevent rubbing, pinching or stress that could damage it. The tightness and sealing of the unions must also be checked before putting the braking system into service.
