Rear cylinder 9 mm brake pipe

This rear wheel cylinder brake pipe (09) carries pressurised brake fluid to the rear wheel cylinder. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure flows through the brake hose and then through this pipe to activate the wheel cylinder and the rear braking system.

This pipe is positioned within the vehicle's rear braking circuit. It connects the rear brake hose (ref. 1001840), on either the left or right side, to the corresponding wheel cylinder.

During installation, the pipe must be correctly positioned with suitable seals and securely fastened to prevent rubbing, kinks or stress that could cause damage. The tightness and sealing of the connections must also be checked before the braking system is put into service.
