At the time, this part was made from a tar-based material that tended to crack and deteriorate over time, particularly due to the heat generated by the engine.
Today, Méhari Club Cassis offers a new version made from very high-quality black silicone. This material provides excellent heat resistance and significantly improved durability, while also making installation easier. It also helps reduce engine noise and vibrations.
This insulation attaches directly to the cooling shrouds and uses the same mounting points as the original part.
Designed for the 2CV6, it is also suitable for other models equipped with a modern 602 cc engine.
The product is supplied as a complete kit for one vehicle.
