Oil breather - bottom exit

Oil breather with downward-facing outlet. This version is designed for so-called "new model" versions of the Citroën 2CV, Méhari, Dyane, and Acadiane fitted with a twin-choke carburettor.
This mechanical component plays an essential role in engine crankcase ventilation by allowing oil vapours and pressurised gases generated during engine operation to be expelled. The breather helps regulate the engine's internal pressure.

The downward-outlet version is specifically designed for 2CV and derivative models equipped with a twin-choke carburettor and a plastic air filter of the new model type (ref. 1011700), ensuring easy integration with existing hose and filter systems.
