How can you identify this gearbox?

This model can be identified by the presence of 220 mm diameter brake drums.

NB: This basic package does not include the reconditioning of the front brakes.

IMPORTANT – Shipping your gearbox

This service covers the reconditioning of your own gearbox.

Shipping the gearbox to our workshops in Cassis is at the customer's expense. Transport costs, shipping arrangements and packaging of the gearbox remain the customer's responsibility.

Before shipping, please contact us so that we can advise you on the choice of carrier and the appropriate shipping arrangements.

The gearbox must be properly drained, protected and packaged to prevent any damage during transport.

The reconditioning process:

1. You send us your gearbox

You arrange and pay for the shipment of your gearbox to our workshops in Cassis.

2. We carry out a technical inspection

Upon receipt, our teams carry out a comprehensive technical inspection of your gearbox to accurately assess its condition and determine the work required.

3. We provide you with a quotation

Following this inspection, we will send you a quotation for the reconditioning work.

If you decide not to proceed with the reconditioning, you will only be charged a fixed fee equivalent to 3 hours of labour for the technical inspection.

4. We recondition your gearbox

Once the quotation has been accepted, our technicians proceed with the reconditioning of your gearbox.

The price shown for this service covers reconditioning including:

• Complete disassembly of the gearbox
• Cleaning and inspection of all components and the gearbox casing
• Replacement of all gearbox bearings
• Replacement of all gearbox seals
• Reassembly and adjustment of the gearbox: differential setup, selector fork adjustment and adjustment of all clearances
• Gearbox testing on a test bench: leak and operational testing

Please note: the gearbox is then drained and delivered without oil!

The estimated turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks from the date you approve the work.

Warranty:

The gearbox reconditioning service is covered by a 12-month warranty.

This warranty does not cover labour costs associated with the removal and refitting of the gearbox, unless these operations were carried out directly in our workshops.

You must send us your own gearbox for reconditioning. Shipping to our workshops in Cassis is at your expense and under your responsibility.
