2cv original rear left wing - galvanised

Manufactured in France using original Citroën tooling, this left rear wing for the 2CV retains the shapes and characteristics of the manufacturer's original parts.

Designed to fit above the left rear wheel, it covers the wheel arch while protecting the bodywork against water, mud and gravel splashes.

This wing benefits from a hot-dip galvanising treatment, which involves immersing it in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of approximately 450 °C. This process forms a protective layer that limits the development of corrosion, improves resistance to oxidation and helps extend the service life of the part.

To prepare it for painting, it is recommended to apply a primer compatible with galvanised surfaces. This step provides an even surface and promotes good adhesion of the finishing paint.

This wing is fitted using fastening screws located along the side and upper sections. A clip completes the assembly to secure the rear section.
