Several generations of 2CV front and rear indicators
The indicator lights on your favourite classic car include the 2CV turn indicators, also known as "feux clignotants", "clignoteurs" in Belgium or "signophiles" and "indicateurs" in Switzerland. These flashers first appeared on the 2CV in September 1954 with the launch of the 2CV AZ and AZU models. Over the years, they have undergone a number of changes in terms of shape and positioning, both for the 2CV front indicators and the rear indicators. Note that the first models of the famous Citroën also had side turn indicators, which disappeared with the launch of the 2CV 4 and 6, their initial position then incorporating a rear lateral window.
