Aluminium bump stop spacer

Aluminium interface component designed to ensure the correct spacing, positioning and support of various Méhari parts. Thanks to its dual function, this support is used both on the windscreen and for securing the rear frame to the platform chassis.

Windscreen installation :

The support acts as a spacer for the rubber buffer fitted to **new-model** and **Azur** Méhari windscreens. Positioned between the windscreen frame and the buffer, it ensures that the buffer is correctly located and can effectively perform its protective and cushioning functions.

The corresponding windscreen assemblies each include two rubber buffers, part no. 0600400, and two buffer supports, part no. 0600300:

. New-model windscreen, part no. 06001120;
. Azur windscreen, part no. 06001020.

Rear-frame installation :

The same component can also be used as a mounting spacer between the Méhari's rear frame and platform chassis. It helps provide uniform spacing, accurate alignment and a secure mechanical connection between these two components.

It is used in particular with:

. Black Méhari rear frame, part no. 0308000;
. Galvanised Méhari rear frame, part no. 0308001;
. Corresponding rear frames for Méhari 4x4 models.

The rear frame is a structural part of the Méhari. It supports several components, including the body floor, side pillars, rear panel, tailgate, rear seat and soft-top frame. Correct positioning of its mounting points is therefore essential.

The aluminium support prevents direct or uneven tightening against the platform chassis and helps provide a stable, accurately aligned and durable assembly.

In summary: this small aluminium spacer has two distinct applications: it can support the rubber buffer on certain Méhari windscreens or act as a connecting spacer between the rear frame and the platform chassis on 4x2 and 4x4 models. Its shape ensures the correct spacing between the assembled components and contributes to the overall quality of the installation.
