Brake pipe seal (4.5mm) - DOT4

This 4.5 mm DOT 4 brake pipe seal ensures a leak-tight connection at a brake pipe union in the hydraulic circuit. It prevents brake fluid leaks at the connection and therefore helps maintain the pressure required for the braking system to operate correctly.

This seal is fitted at the union of a 4.5 mm diameter brake pipe. It is designed for vehicles equipped with front and rear drum brakes whose braking circuit uses Lockheed or DOT 4 fluid.

During installation, the seal must be correctly positioned at the union before tightening the brake pipe. Using a seal suitable for the pipe diameter and brake fluid is necessary to ensure the hydraulic circuit remains leak-tight. Once installation is complete, the system must be checked for leaks before putting the braking system back into service.
