Left rear banjo brake tube connector

This rear left banjo brake pipe carries pressurised brake fluid to the rear left wheel cylinder. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure flows through the pipe to the wheel cylinder, allowing the rear brake to operate.

This pipe is positioned within the braking system of the rear left wheel. Equipped with a banjo fitting, it is specifically designed to connect to the rear left wheel cylinder on compatible 2CV models.

During installation, the pipe must be correctly positioned with suitable seals to ensure a leak-tight banjo connection. It must also be installed without kinks, rubbing or excessive stress that could cause damage. The hydraulic circuit must be checked for leaks before the braking system is put back into service.
