Left front banjo brake tube connector

This front left banjo brake pipe carries pressurised brake fluid to the front left wheel cylinder. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure flows through the pipe to the wheel cylinder, allowing the front brake to operate.

This pipe is positioned within the braking system of the front left wheel. Equipped with a banjo fitting, it is specifically designed to connect to the front left wheel cylinder on compatible 2CV models.

During installation, the pipe must be correctly positioned with suitable seals to ensure a leak-tight banjo connection. It must also be installed without kinks or excessive stress that could cause damage. The hydraulic circuit must be checked for leaks before the braking system is put back into service.
