Original platform chassis - black cataphoresis

Original manufacture: The original platforms are manufactured in strict compliance with Citroën's specifications. The 2CV Méhari Club Cassis draws on all its experience in continuing to use the original tools to offer a platform that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Anti-corrosion treatment: These platforms undergo an anti-corrosion treatment called cataphoresis. This is an epoxy-type surface treatment in which the platforms are immersed in baths, providing total coverage for optimal protection.
A stone chip protection coating is applied to the upper part, providing additional protection to the central section. In the case of a 2CV or Dyane, the platform is directly exposed inside the vehicle. This layer of blaxon protects the platform from damage caused by wear and friction, while providing a non-slip surface.

Compliance and Collection registration document: These platforms are delivered with a certificate of compliance proving their authenticity. As an option, we also offer serial number stamping with the Citroën manufacturer's chevrons, certifying the origin of the platform. Furthermore, only original platforms can receive this chevron marking, which is a true distinguishing feature.

In addition, if you wish to obtain a 'collection' vehicle registration document for your car, only the installation of an original platform with cataphoresis treatment manufactured by the 2 CV Méhari club Cassis will be accepted by the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles (FFVE) and in accordance with point 6.3 of article 311-1 (Highway Code), which specifies the following:
'6.3. Vehicles of historical interest (known as classic vehicles) [...]: They are preserved for their historical value and maintained in their original condition, and no significant modifications have been made to the technical characteristics of their main components.'

Platform number stamp: Since April 2011, in order to pass the technical inspection, it is mandatory for the serial number to be stamped on the platform of all vehicles less than 30 years old, in accordance with the factory stamp.
This costs €1 for the purchase of an original platform and requires you to send us a copy of the vehicle registration document and the manufacturer's aluminium plate.

. Please note: For installation on a Méhari, a 24 cm cut in the rear side members and drilling of holes for the front roll bar and rear stops will be required.
